About Funshine Academy

Funshine Academy was founded by the husband and wife team of Matt and Rhonda LeLaurin who have over 30 years experience in preschool and Early Child Development.

 

Serving the Richmond area since 1987, we offer the best in care and education of young children. The curriculum and academic program we offer is complimented by the latest in educational materials and a carefully selected and trained staff. We provide a challenging and stimulating learning environment.

 

An essential key to successful higher learning is school enjoyment; therefore, a child's association with school must be a positive one. Our goal for each child enrolled is that he or she enjoys the school experience with us and is excited about learning.

 

The young child is learning about his world and developing socially, emotionally, physically and mentally. Our program offers activities and experiences to promote faster growth in each of these areas.
